Trip Description - Thorong La – Upper Mustang Trek

Jagadamba Holidays offers the highest satisfactory service of “Thorong La – Upper Mustang Trek” at affordable prices. The Annapurna Circuit trek falls within the Annapurna Conservation Area which starts from Besishahar and ends at Birethanti. Usually, the guide for Thorong La Pass trekking in Annapurna circuit of Nepal is an invaluable requirement for security management. At an altitude of 5,416 meters above sea level, this pass is the most difficult place for trekking in the Annapurna circuit.

At this altitude, only half of the oxygen is available at sea level. This means that every step you take makes you feel like you are running a marathon. First thing is the round Annapurna trek offers one of the most diverse treks in the world. In fact, this trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal.

Enjoy a unique opportunity to trek in the mystical land beyond the Himalayas. A hike in Upper Mustang is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. As such, it allows you to see the lifestyle of the true hill people, who have had little contact with the rest of the world for hundreds of years. Trekking in Upper Mustang is geographically part of the Tibetan Plateau and is in many ways similar to trekking in Tibet.

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. You can learn more about different types of travel and their features and the proposed travel price by contacting us directly where we will be very pleased to answer your questions. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
