PASSPORT:

The country name “Nepal”, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a landlocked country located in South Asia. Nepal lies mainly in the Himalayas but also includes the Tarai as part of the Indo-Gangetic Plain. The customers are individually responsible for ensuring that they have a valid and all the relevant visas required for their holidays in Nepal. It is essential to remember that for any trips offered by Jagadamba Holidays you will need a passport (normally with 6 months remaining validity at the completion of the trip).

If you don’t have a passport, apply in advance for the passport on time. If you do have a passport, don’t forget to check the expiry date. To secure your booking and avoid incurring additional charges, you must provide information on your booking form in accordance as shown on your passport.

 

VISA:

Traveler can be obtained A visa for Nepal on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. It can also be taken from Kakarbhitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachauki on the Nepal-India border and Kodari/Rasuwagadhi on the Nepal-China border.Outside of Nepal, A visa can also be obtained at the nearest Nepal Embassy or Diplomatic Mission. For renewal of your Nepal visa, you have to go to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan in Kathmandu. Here are the visa fees:

1. VISA TYPE:
(a) Tourist Visa

2. DESCRIPTION:
(a) Issued to foreigners travelling to Nepal as an entry visa (On-Arrival Visa) at the port of entry
(b) Issued as an entry visa by Diplomatic Missions abroad
(c) Tourist visa is extended not exceeding total 150 days of stay in a single visa year (Jan-Dec)

3. ISSUED BY:
(a) 15/30/90- Days entry visa is issued by Immigration Offices
(b) Tourist Visa extension is done for minimum 15 days from Immigration Offices and Department of Immigration
(c) 15/30/90-Days entry visa is issued by Diplomatic Missions

4. ENTRY VISA FEE:
(a) 15 Days – USD 30 per visa sticker
(b) 30 Days – USD 50 per visa sticker
(c) 90 Days – USD 125 per visa sticker

5. VISA EXTENSION FEE:
(a) 3 USD per Day
(b) 5 USD per day as late fine in the case of delay

6. MULTYPLE RE-ENTRY VISA FEE:
(a) Additional 25 USD for a multiple re-entry facility.

7. REQUIRED DOCUMENT:
(a) Valid Ordinary Passport
(b) Previous Visa, if any
(c) Other supporting documents, if required

8. WHO CAN APPLY & HOW:
(a) Foreigners can apply from the online portal https://nepaliport.immigration.gov.np/
