Trip Description - World Heritage Tour

The seven world heritage sites of Kathmandu Valley are the major attractions of the world heritage tour. This tour is a perfect day tour to see the world heritage sites within the Kathmandu Valley in one day. A day tour covers a maximum of four locations which takes around seven to eight hours. We need at least two days in Kathmandu to cover the seven World Heritage Sites. Kathmandu Valley has seven UNESCO heritage sites all of which are historically of great import to us. The story begins when Manjushree came to the valley to make the lake and the valley habitable. A one-day heritage site visit is also a part of the Nepal tour package.

Manjushree, who took the name of Manjudeva for residence, came to the valley and cut the side of the mountain near the low hill called Kacha Palagiri of Chobar. Tourists often refer to it as the “Pot and Pan” temple, because of all the household appliances affixed on its walls. he temple is dedicated to Anandadi Lokeshwara, one of the four principal bodhisattvas revered as the Lokeshwaras of the Kathmandu Valley (or Adinath to Nepali speakers, who regard this deity as one of the four Matsyendranaths) in Nepal.

The Chobar Hill near the low hill called Kachchhpala Giri got angry when Manjudev cut the hill. But Manju replied that she should be happy after draining the pond. The valley would become the seat of a great civilization and one day Sri Tin Lokeshwar would come to reside in the Chobar Hills. Many years later, when the valley had become a center of civilization and a king named Dharmakara was ruling, Manjushri told Sri. He decided to return to the valley as Manjudeva to have a visit to Jyotirupa Swayambhu. He brought Kashyapa Tathagata with him. The two decided to establish a monastery in the valley to teach and advise the people.

Day 1 Kathmandu: Arrive anytime!

Upon arrival in Nepal, Jagadamba Holidays representatives will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport with a Jagadamba Holidays placard (Jagadamba Holidays signboard). In case of late night arrival, private transportation to the hotel will be arranged by the representative. Clients will be notified of tour briefings and group meeting times by a representative.

In the meeting we discuss the travel plans and services and introduce the trek or tour guide as per the itinerary. You must completely fill up a legally binding travel form and a non-liability disclaimer form. If any person’s tour payment is due, such person must pay at this meeting. Stay overnight at Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel.
Day 2 Drive to Lumbini by private car and visit Lumbini.
Day 3 Drive to Pokhara by private car and visit Pokhara.
Day 4 Visit Pokhara's Sarangkot hills and scenic spots
Day 5 Drive to Kathmandu by private car and visit Kathmandu.
Day 6 Everest Flight Experience and Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 7 Drive to Nagarkot after sightseeing in Kathmandu.
Day 8 Kathmandu: Depart anytime!

After breakfast, you should leave your room and store your luggage at the hotel and relax in the hotel lobby or explore the surrounding local market for last minute shopping for friends and family until you head to the airport for your flight back home.

Due to limited space at Kathmandu Airport, all airlines have requested to report at the check-in counter three hours before the actual flight departure time. Therefore, we will pick you up from the hotel three and a half hours in advance, as the estimated travel time to the airport is around half an hour.

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
