This “Kali Gandaki Gorge Trek” is called Kali Gandaki Valley Trek, Muktinath Trek, Kagbeni Trek, Shaligram Valley Trek, Muktinath Darshan Yatra, Muktinath Yatra, Muktinath Jeep Tour, and Muktinath and Lumbini Tour. This trip is designed for those who like to travel with pilgrimage and spiritual philosophy of nature and for this, we chose Muktinath and Lumbini. Mukti Kshetra is called Muktinath where there is a temple of Lord Vishnu. To reach the temple, we first fly from Pokhara to Jomsom and therefore do not have to walk many meters to reach Muktinath pilgrimage site which is at an altitude of 3800 meters. At the temple premises, we admire the peaceful coexistence of Hindus and Buddhists who share this place of worship. It is a wonderful place where people can see the light of a burning fire.

Gods & Peaks Experience offers you an opportunity to visit temples and mountain peaks in Nepal at the same time which are the main attractions of this tour. Although, known by the name of Kali Gandaki Valley Trek, Muktinath Trek, Kagbeni Trek, Shaligram Valley Trek, Muktinath Darshan Yatra, Muktinath Yatra, Muktinath Jeep Tour, and Lower Mustang Trek.

Therefore, it is a wonderful combination of hiking and culture and it is possible for anyone who enjoys trekking as we cannot reach very high altitudes. Trekking through the Kaligandaki Valley is also a great experience for a trek to the Tatopani village of Myagdi where you can bathe in natural hot water. Enjoying the view of Annapurna Himal and Dhaulagiri Himal, and villages of Ghorepani, Uleri and Birethanti, we return to Pokhara through the deepest pit of Kali Gandaki valley.

From here we go to Lumbini (available direct flight to Lumbini as an option), the birthplace of the Buddha via Palpa by private car. Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha, is also a UNESCO site in Nepal. Both places are associated with God and nature where people will be inspired. That is why we have described this journey as the journey of God and Peaks, that is, the journey from Muktinath to Lumbini.

At the end of this trek, if any of you have time, you can extend your vacation by adding a 2 night 3 day jungle safari package tour to Chitwan National Park.

    Upon your arrival in Nepal, Jagadamba Holidays representatives will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport, holding a Jagadamba Holidays placard (signboard). In the event of a late-night arrival, our representative will arrange private transportation to the hotel. Detailed information about tour briefings and group meeting times will be communicated by the representative.

    During the meeting, we will discuss travel plans and services, and introduce the trek or tour guide according to the itinerary. It is mandatory to complete a legally binding travel form and a non-liability disclaimer form during this session. If any individual has an outstanding tour payment, it must be settled at this meeting.     As there is limited space at Kathmandu Airport, all airlines have requested passengers to report at the check-in counter three hours before the actual departure time. To accommodate this, we will pick you up from the hotel three and a half hours in advance, considering the estimated travel time to the airport is approximately half an hour.

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. You can learn more about different types of travel and their features and the proposed travel price by contacting us directly where we will be very pleased to answer your questions. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
