Leaving the Kathmandu valley, we will go to Shyabru Besi through the bustling city of Trishuli. One thing to keep in mind is that the bus is usually old and crowded which gives the journey a new experience. However, don’t be surprised if you find goats, chickens or sheep on the bus. Most local buses stop anywhere to add more passengers. Most of the local drivers plying this route are experts, so it is safe to travel by public transport. Most of the domestic and international trekkers visiting the Langtang region use this option on a daily basis. However, you can also opt for a comfortable travel experience, which brings us to option that is private vehicle.

Leaving Shyabru Besi, hikers slowly climb the trails until you reach the view point. From there you can see the magnificent Ganesh Himal, Gosainkunda and Goljung valley. After a short break at a view point, you will continue your trek through several traditional Tamang settlements. During today’s trek there is an opportunity to get magnificent views of the landscape and awe-inspiring views of the peaks. From here you can reach the Gatlang after a few hours of walking. Gatlang is a beautiful Tamang settlement surrounded by terraced farmland on the hill. In the afternoon, you can visit the beautiful Parvati Kund, explore the village and interact with the people. As you pass through the incredible rhododendron forest clinging to the hillside, the vines and moss-covered trees give your surroundings a real “prehistoric” feel. However, instead of dinosaurs you are more likely to encounter an army of gray langur monkeys. After this, we reach Brimdang village before continuing on the bumpiest and steep part of the trail. One after the other, one can see better and better views of Ganesh Himal in the west and Langtang Himal in the east. About 45 minutes from Brimdang, the ridgeline ends in the open grasslands of the Nagthali Danda.

Wake up early in the morning and climb to Taruche View Point (3,600m), the highest and most beautiful point of this trek. Described by some as the “Pun Hill of Langtang” (a popular view of the famous Annapurna region), Taruche offers panoramic views of Mount Ganesh to the west, Shishapangma (8,013 m) in Tibet to the north and Langtang to the east. Taruche View Point also has the added advantage of being much quieter than Poon Hill. This is one of the “Off the Beaten Treks” trails in Nepal. The off the beaten treks for cultural encounter helps to discover the mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism at the edge of one of the most secluded Himalayan valleys. In fact, during your hike, don’t be surprised if you’re the only person there but have to capture the best view. Of course, the photos don’t do it justice; you must visit to experience this magnificent sight for yourself. No wonder the hill serves as a perfect place for meditation and contemplation for monks. Stay here as long as you want, take in the ideas and enjoy the sense of accomplishment. After the sunrise tour, if you don’t have breakfast, return to the lodge. After breakfast, start your trek to Thuman. Thuman can be reached through the deep forest of Thuman, which is about 880 meters below Nagthali Danda. Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3,500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. You can learn more about different types of travel and their features and the proposed travel price by contacting us directly where we will be very pleased to answer your questions. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options.
