Trip Description - Nepal Heritage Tour

Nepal Heritage Tour includes the ancient cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Patan and Nagarkot. A stay in Nepal is an interesting World Heritage sightseeing tour of the historical and cultural architecture, religion and local lifestyle with breathtaking views of the Kathmandu Valley. Kathmandu district surrounded by green mountains is the capital of Nepal. The Kathmandu Valley of Nepal includes the ancient cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. The artistically constructed temples and palaces of these three historic cities, delicately carved stone and metal images, carved wooden pillars and columns and history-laden shrines and chaityas are testimony to the excellence of art and architecture during the medieval period. The Kathmandu Valley is home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including three Durbar Squares (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan), two stupas (Swayambhunath and Boudhanath), and two temples – Pashupatinath and Changu Narayan).

After breakfast at hotel, drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan, Sauraha by deluxe tourist bus which takes about 5-6 hours to reach our resort. Upon arrival at the resort, the receptionist at Resort will greet you with soft or warm welcome drinks. You will spend a total of three nights at the Resort in Chitwan, but the program will be based on a 2 night 3 day wildlife safari package in which all food, accommodation and activities are booked.

Our Chitwan Wildlife Safari Package Tour includes a total of 6 activities including (1) Tharu Village Walk & Sunset View Tour, (2) Bird Watching Tour (3) Canoeing, (4) Jeep Safari or Elephant Safari (National Park Visit), (5) Tharu Cultural Stick Dance Show, and (6) Elephant Breeding Center tour.

After lunch on the first day, the resort will offer partial wildlife activities so you can discuss the itinerary and decide when and what activities you want to do. After planning the trip, they will give you a time card of activities while staying at a lodge in Chitwan.

Day 1 KATHMANDU : ARRIVAL DAY

Kathmandu – Arrive at Any Time
Arrival in Kathmandu, meet at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Today is your free time for private activities around Thamel. Activities will depend on your international flight landing time in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Overnight in Nagarkot

Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Overnight in Nagarkot.
After breakfast at Hotel, about 9 AM start sightseeing tour of Bouddhanath, Patan Durbar Square, and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. After sightseeing tour completion of Bhaktapur old palace, proceed to travel to Nagarkot. Overnight in Nagarkot.
Day 3 Nagarkot and Sightseeing in Kathmandu

This is a self-guided sightseeing tour in the Kathmandu Valley. After sunrise tour and breakfast at Nagarkot, drive back to Kathmandu. Visit Kathmandu’s Durbar Square and Swayambhunath. After completing the picturesque journey to Swayambhunath, proceed to Thamel. At night in Thamel. You have free time in the evening for private activities!
Day 4 KATHMANDU : DEPARTURE DAY

Kathmandu – Depart at Any Time
Breakfast at hotel. Depart to airport to go back home country. You may also extend the trip as per your desire and time available?

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
