Trip Description - Nar Phu Valley Trek

The Nar Phu Valley trek starts and ends at Besishahar, the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit trek. The Nar Phu Valley Trek is within the Annapurna Conservation Area of the Annapurna region. Kang La Pass is a mountain pass located in Manang district of Nepal which is the main attraction of Nar Phu Valley trek. Kang La Pass Trek also known as Kang La Trek is an excellent and classified trek at an altitude of 5,320 meters in the Annapurna region. These remote routes were opened to trekkers only in 2002. Every season a handful of tourists visit the untouched villages of Nar and Phu villages with their timeless lifestyle.

Your accommodation will be booked in Thamel which is a tourist center and the best place to have your first meal, various restaurants offer a selection of western and local Nepali dishes. This trek is a newly opened trekking route for foreigners. This trek is one of the best Himalayan treks for wild and undiscovered treks northeast of the Annapurna range. Closed to trekkers until late 2002, very few tourists have explored these nearly untouched villages trekking trails. This is a true Himalayan desert experience that is as unforgettable as it is spectacular. This valley is a blend of raw Himalayan nature and ancient Buddhist culture of Nepal.

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. You can learn more about different types of travel and their features and the proposed travel price by contacting us directly where we will be very pleased to answer your questions. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
