Trip Description - Manaslu & Tsum Valley Trek

Manaslu & Tsum Valley Trek falls within the Manaslu and Annapurna Conservation Area which is the region of Gorkha, Manang and Lamjung. Manaslu Circuit Trek lies towards, to the north of the historic fortress town of Gorkha. From Gorkha the last kings of Nepal ventured forth to conquer the rest of the country in the 18th Century. This beautiful mountain Manaslu (8163 meters) is the eighth highest mountain in the world. Manaslu Round Trek also called “around Manaslu trek, Trek around Manaslu, Manaslu circuit trek, Trek rund um den Manaslu, Rund um den Manaslu, Manaslu Runde Trek, and Trek around Manaslu”.

We also offer a combination trekking tour package of Tsum Valley and Manaslu circuit Trek. This tour package is best for those who have enough time and physical fitness and it offers travelers the best stunning views of mountains. The Tsum Valley and Manaslu circuit Trek joining the junction is Chisapani, which is situated 1600 m above sea level.

From Chisapani we will continue the trek towards Manaslu Circuit and end in Besishahar after crossing the Larkya La Pass (5,106 m). It is an absolutely fantastic tour package which is a very varied trek around eight-thousand mountains. Also, on the rest day in Kathmandu on this trip, we particularly recommend a first visit to Nepal: the old royal city – Bhaktapur Durbar, Buddhist stupa – Boudhanath and Hindu temple – Pashupatinath.

  1. Day 1 Kathmandu: Arrive anytime!

    Upon arrival in Nepal, Jagadamba Holidays representatives will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport with a Jagadamba Holidays placard (Jagadamba Holidays signboard). In case of late night arrival, private transportation to the hotel will be arranged by the representative. Clients will be notified of tour briefings and group meeting times by a representative.

    In the meeting we discuss the travel plans and services and introduce the trek or tour guide as per the itinerary. You must completely fill up a legally binding travel form and a non-liability disclaimer form. If any person’s tour payment is due, such person must pay at this meeting. Stay overnight at Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel.

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu

    Free day in Kathmandu for trekking preparation and evening tour briefing at hotel lobby.

  3. Day 3 Travel from Kathmandu to Soti Khola (700 m) by private jeep

  4. Day 4 Trek from Soti Khola - Machhakhola (870 m)

  5. Day 5 Trek from Machhakhola to Jagat (1,350 m)

  6. Day 6 Trek from Jagat to Chisapani (1,600 m)

  7. Day 7 Trek from Chisapani to Chumling (2,380 m)

  8. Day 8 Trek from Chumling to Chhokong Paro (3,010 m)

  9. Day 9 Trek from Chhokong Paro to Nile (3,360 m)

  10. Day 10 Trek from Nile to Mu Gumba (3,700 m) and return to Nile

  20. Day 20 Trek from Dharamshala to Bimthang (3,720 m) via Larkya La (5,106 m) 

  21. Day 21 Trek from Bimthang to Gho (2,560 m)

  22. Day 22 Trek from Gho to Dharapani (1,950 m)

  23. Day 23 Drive from Dharapani to Besishahar (760 m)

  24. Day 24 Drive from Besishahar to Kathmandu (1,400 m)

  25. Day 25 Kathmandu

    Free day in Kathmandu for return preparation and evening farewell dinner at 06:30 PM.

  26. Day 26 Kathmandu: Depart anytime!

    After breakfast, you should leave your room and store your luggage at the hotel and relax in the hotel lobby or explore the surrounding local market for last minute shopping for friends and family until you head to the airport for your flight back home.

    Due to limited space at Kathmandu Airport, all airlines have requested to report at the check-in counter three hours before the actual flight departure time. Therefore, we will pick you up from the hotel three and a half hours in advance, as the estimated travel time to the airport is around half an hour.

    We hope that your visit to Nepal and the activities you do during your visit will remind you to visit Nepal again in the future. Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. You can learn more about different types of travel and their features and the proposed travel price by contacting us directly where we will be very pleased to answer your questions. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
