Trip Description - Kathmandu Day Tour

The travel is influenced not only by hiking, but also by the grand cultural program of Nepal: we visit the royal city of Patan and Bhaktapur (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) as well as the sacred cemetery sites at the Pashupatinath Temple (Aryaghat). We will not missed swayambhunath and Boudhanath’s plan of getting to know each other. Swayambhunath is a large Buddhist-Hindu temple complex located on a hill in the western part of Thamel in Kathmandu. Also known as the “Monkey Temple”, it is considered the center of Newari Buddhism. Ancient carvings, shrines, and sculptures adorn the entire temple complex

We will be captivated by the special atmosphere there, the fragrance of incense and butter lamps, the monks, the ringing of prayer bells and the many souvenir serenades on the stairs. After visit this temple then we goes to the world-famous Boudhanath’s stupa, which is now one of the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Nepal. The thirty six meters high, attractive stupa is definitely one of the most famous sites in the Himalayan kingdoms-Nepal.
