In Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Shiva predominantly resides atop the sacred Mount Kailash, engaging in yogic practices and sharing divine moments of joy and love with his consort, Parbati, often referred to as the Mother of Mythology. For followers of the sacred syllable AUM, Lake Mansarovar and Mount Kailash hold profound spiritual significance, symbolizing the essence of their faith.

Legend has it that circumambulating Mount Kailash even once can absolve a person of the sins of a lifetime, while completing 108 Parikramas ensures enlightenment. A ritualistic bath in the pristine waters of Lake Mansarovar is believed to transport pilgrims to Brahma’s paradise, and a mere sip of its sanctified water is said to cleanse one of sins accumulated over countless lifetimes.

If you are traveling with a group of 25 people, don’t worry, we will operate according to the itinerary with your chosen dates and customizations. Websites for Nepal Trekking and Climbing mention group size here so it is not related to Kailash so please ignore this group size. Minimum group size for Kailash tour operation should be 25 people in a group as we need a minimum 25 people to get a Kailash tour permit. The quoted price is also based on it. Given price will be changed any time if TTB increases the price in future.

Tibet and Kailash tour operators of Kathmandu have agreed to form a single group if the travel date is the same and the booking is less than 25 people. We offer different brands but in Tibet, China they form the same group which is the main reason. Our main aim is to make traveling easy and provide quality service. Indian and Nepalese tour operators can’t do anything in Tibet because the Chinese are different from the rest of the world, so it’s best to go on a trip with the idea that we’re only going to visit Lord Shiva’s birth place. Also keep in mind that we are only going to touch Mount Kailash. Don’t expect any luxury during the Kailash Yatra.

Hopefully, Tibet border will be open from 1st April 2023 for foreigner and Indian pilgrims.
