Trip Description - Annapurna 7 Passes Trek

Annapurna Seven Passes trek is the name of a newly explored trekking route for adventurous travelers who want to travel to the mountains to enjoy the beautiful view of the hidden gems of the mountains within the Annapurna region. Aside from mountaineering, this Seven Passes trek is the most adventurous trek route in Annapurna region. Travelers will be inspired by pure natural and untouched nature and magnificent mountain views on the planet, they can immerse themselves in authentic cultures. There is a newly constructed road from Besisahar to Manang, so the trek starts from Karte Village of Manang and ends at Birethanti after crossing seven passes as per trekking program.

This trekking route covers village, lake, monastery and high passes in Annapurna. The total distance of this difficult trail is about 225 kilometers. This is only possible with an experienced guide and camping support team. Also, this trek requires special permission for Nar Phu Valley and general permission for Annapurna area. The best times to visit Nepal are autumn (October and November) and spring (mid to mid-May), so autumn and spring are also suitable for trekking. So far the weather is good in both seasons but sometimes it can be bad so cross your fingers for good weather before starting the journey, and enjoy trekking with good weather. This trek trails requires camping and 25% is a walking basic tea house.

If a trekker doesn’t have much time for this, it can be rearranged and your Annapurna circuit trek can be combined with Nar Fu Valley Trek and Tilicho Lake Trek where you cross two high passes, Kang La and Mesokanto La. We are trekking in the high pass which is always risky till we complete the trek. Therefore, for safety measures you should bring crampons and basic climbing equipment.

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. You can learn more about different types of travel and their features and the proposed travel price by contacting us directly where we will be very pleased to answer your questions. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
