Usually, the guide for Thorong La Pass trekking in Annapurna circuit of Nepal is an invaluable requirement for security management. At an altitude of 5,416 meters above sea level, this pass is the most difficult place for trekking in the Annapurna circuit. At this altitude, only half of the oxygen is available at sea level. This means that every step you take makes you feel like you are running a marathon. First thing is the round Annapurna trek offers one of the most diverse treks in the world. In fact, this trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. The Annapurna Circuit Trekking route is popular worldwide as an adventure trekking route and is also known as the Round Annapurna Trek (RAT).

The length of the full Annapurna circuit footpath is about 270 kilometers. This trekking trail is a great choice for trekkers who are looking for an exciting and challenging adventure trek. To do this trekking, trekkers must have some special walking skills, mountain experience, height resistance and be physically fit. It is an excellent trek in the Annapurna region, following the Marsyangdi River from the subtropical lowlands to the Manang Basin. After crossing the Thorong La (5,416 m), trekkers will enter the world’s deepest pit, the Kali Gandaki Valley. Muktinath Temple is a sacred, common pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Nawal, Manang, Tilicho Lake, Thorong La, Muktinath Temple, Kagbeni, Jomsom, Dhumba Lake, Rupse Waterfall, Hot Spring, Poon Hill and Gurung Hill are the main attractions of this trek.   1. Day 1 Departure from home country to Nepal!

  2. Day 2 Kathmandu Arrival Day: Arrive anytime!

    Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Jagadamba Holidays carrying a placard of Jagadamba Holidays will receive you. Private transportation to the hotel if arrival is late at night will be arranged by the representative. At the office we proceed to discuss the travel plans and introduce the trek guide through a meeting. If any tour payment is overdue, the customer must pay by completing a legally binding travel form and non-liability disclaimer form. Stay overnight at the Kathmandu Guest House in Kathmandu.

  3. Day 3 Drive Kathmandu - Besishahar by private vehicle and Stay in Besishahar (760 m)

    After breakfast at the hotel, you depart Kathmandu early for Besishahar (760 m). We travel to Besishahar by private vehicle. The road to Besishahar is very good. Besishahar can be reached after about six hours(177.5 km) of travel from Kathmandu. After reaching there you should be fresh and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at Puspanjali Hotel or Hotel Tulsi Home in Besishahar.

  4. Day 4 Cycling from Besishahar to Jagat (1300m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. We cross various suspension bridges, waterfalls and pass through paddy fields and forests. After reaching Jagat Rock, one can see Marshyangdi River below and the Rocky Mountains all around. The beehives on the cliff tops are the attraction for today. To reach Jagat from Besisahar, one has to cycle about 29 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 1400 m and 900 descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at Hotel Paradise in Jagat.

  5. Day 5 Cycling from Jagat to Tal (1700m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. Through rhododendron, pine and bamboo forests on the rocky slopes of the mountain, crossing narrow and steep valleys, we cross a bridge that takes us up a steep ascent and finally into a wide valley. After reaching the Tal village, there is an opportunity to cultivate barley, wheat and potatoes. To reach Tal from Jagat, one has to cycle about 10 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 1300 m and 900 descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at ………… Lodge or similar standard lodge in Tal.

  6. Day 6 Cycling from Tal to Chame (2,700 m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. From Dharapani, The cycling trail leads to steep slopes, as well as forested cliffs. After Danakyu village, you have to climb up to reach Tamang village where you can see the panoramic views of Manaslu, Lamjung, Annapurna and other mountains. We see many waterfalls with a panoramic view of Lamjung Peak, Annapurna II and Annapurna IV. On today’s cycling tour, we have to travel through the villages of Tibetan culture followers, which act as a transitional period between the plains and the hills. We follow the flat path to Tanchok, Koto and finally reach Chame. To reach Chame from Tal, one has to cycle about 23 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 1500 m and 500 descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at the Royal Garden Hotel or similar standard lodge in Chame.

  7. Day 7 Cycling from Chame to Manang (3,540 m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. Chame is district head quarter of Manang District and the town of Pisang is the starting point of the upper reaches of Manang District. During today’s cycling tour, we climbed to the Tibetan-style village of Braga. In Braga, we will also visit the Bhraka (Braga) Monastery. The houses here are built on top of each other with terraces. The main attraction is the Gompa, the largest in the Manang district, with a vast array of statues, placed on a high crag with a view of the entire village of Manang. On the way to Manang, travelers can see the panoramic view of Annapurna, Pisang Peak and many other mountain peaks. When we reach Manang, we reach a windy and dry area. There are two routes from Upper Pisang to Manang village. We take the route through Upper Pisang via Ghyaru (3,670 m) as we can see the panoramic view of Annapurna Himal, Pisang Peak and other peaks. To reach Manang from Chame, one has to cycle about 39 kilometers (via Nawal direct 32km). During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 1150 m and 300 descend via Ghyaru and Nawal. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at the Tilicho Hotel or similar standard lodge in Manang.

  8. Day 8 Manang: Buffer day in Manang for Acclimatization Activities

    An itinerary designed with an additional trekking day in Manang to help acclimatize trekkers. When we reach high altitudes, we need to acclimatize to avoid the risk of altitude sickness. Experts have said that travelers going to the Annapurna circuit should practice walking at the high altitude of Manang as they will be trekking at a high altitude from tomorrow. Manang is a wonderful place with beautiful natural surroundings and a short trip to Khangsar is also a great alternative trek on a pleasant day in Manang. However, a short walk to Manang’s Bhojo Monastery or Gangapurna Lake can also be done on our rest days in Manang Village. Stay overnight at the Tilicho Hotel or similar standard lodge in Manang.

  9. Day 9 Cycling from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,018 m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. We have a short cycling day, we feel rejuvenated to continue our trek ahead towards Yak Kharka. As we pass tall trees towards alpine grass and junipers, we reach a meadow where there are a few horses and several yaks are grazing. Yak Kharka grasslands and a peaceful environment with steep slopes that are a perfect place for overnight stay here. Travelers can also choose to walk for an hour to reach Ledar (4,200 m) above the sea level and spend the night there too. Compared to the previous day’s cycling, today’s trip is not so difficult, the path is not so rocky, but the view of the Yak Kharka is fascinating. To reach Yak Kharka from Manang, one has to cycle about 10 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 500 m and 100 descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at the Hotel Thorong Peak or similar standard lodge in Yak Kharka

  10. Day 10 Cycling from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,450 m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. The destination of today’s cycling is from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi via Ledar. A cycling tour from the eastern bank of Jarang Khola to Ledar helps acclimatize to the increased altitude. After walking for a while, we will cross the suspension bridge and reach Ledar village. Then we climb up from Ledar and reach Thorong Phedi. We will stay tonight at Thorong Phedi, surrounded by steep hills. A few blue sheep and snow leopard sightings have been reported in the area, while Lammergeiers and Griffons are more common here. Today the travelers will get a chance to see the panoramic view of Mount Syagang, Mount Gudang, Mount Khatungkang, and Thorong Peak (6,144 m). To reach Thorong Phedi from Yak Kharka, one has to cycle about 7 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 450 m and zero meter descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at the Hotel New Phedi or similar standard lodge in Thorong Phedi.

  11. Day 11 Cycling from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,760 m) via Thorong La (5,416 m)

    Today, our day trip will start very early in the morning. The cycling tour is relatively easy throughout the year, but can be difficult due to strong winds in the upper reaches. It is believed that this route has been used for transporting other commercial goods in and out of Manang district for hundreds of years. We will reach Thorong La pass after about a six hours journey. After reaching Thorong La pass, our adventure journey will be rewarded with beautiful views of the massive snow peaks of Annapurna, Gangapurna and Khatungkang. As we reach a height of 5,416 meters above sea level we see the majestic Dhaulagiri in the distance. After some time of our journey, the path becomes less steep and enters grasslands and meadows and finally reaches Muktinath. In Hinduism, Muktinath refers to the place of Nirvana where there are temples and many monasteries, making it a holy place for Hindus and Buddhists alike. The main attraction of this place is the Jwala Mai Temple which has a waterfall and eternal flame as well as a holy water stream pouring 108 water streams which attracts thousands of pilgrims every year. To reach Muktinath from Thorong Phedi , one has to cycle about 14 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 1000 m and 1650 m descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at Hotel Grand Shambala or a similar standard lodge at Muktinath.

  12. Day 12 Cycling from Muktinath to Marpha (2,670 m) via Jomsom

    In the morning we will visit the Muktinath Temple of Lord Vishnu. After visiting the temple, we will return to the hotel and have half an hour free time for breakfast, then after today’s cycling tour will begin. For Hindus, the region is “Mukti Kshetra” or the region of liberation or salvation. We also enjoy the breathtaking view of the Dhaulagiri peak. From Muktinath, we follow a trail part of the Jomsom trek where we descend through meadows, streams and fruit trees to finally reach Kagbeni. We will look around the old village and then move downwards. From Kagbeni we continue the cycling tour to reach Marpha and enter the Kali Gandaki valley. To reach Marpha from Muktinath , one has to cycle about 35 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 250 m and 1350 m descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at the …………….. lodge or similar standard lodge in Marpha.

  13. Day 13 Cycling from Marpha to Tatopani (1,190 m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. The Annapurna massif will be in the background as you travel through forests and villages to reach Tatopani in Myagdi District. The meaning of “Tatopani”, in Nepalese language is “hot water”, and you’ll spend the evening here in a natural hot spring that will cure your body of all the aches and pains of cycling. To reach Tatopani from Marpha, one has to cycle about 41 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 800 m and 2300 m descend. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at the Hotel Himalaya or similar standard lodge in Tatopani.

  14. Day 14 Cycling from Tatopani to Beni (830 m) and Drive Beni - Pokhara (820 m)

    After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. After breakfast at the lodge, today’s cycling tour will begin. You will travel continuously along the banks of the raging Kali Gandaki River, one of the deepest gorges in the world. Tatopani to Beni Cycle Tour is a moderately challenging cycle tour. A driver will be on standby with a vehicle to welcome you at Beni Bazaar and transfer you to Pokhara. Your Annapurna MTB Adventure Cycling Tour officially will ends upon arrival in Pokhara. To reach Beni from Tatopani, one has to cycle about 23 kilometers. During this cycling trip you will ascend ride about 600 m and 1000 m descend. After reaching Beni Bazaar, it takes about three hours to reach Pokhara. Once there you should be fresh, and have free time for your personal activities. Stay overnight at the Hotel Middle Path & Spa or similar standard lodge in Pokhara.

  15. Day 15 Free day for leisure and private activities in Pokhara

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today is your free day for leisure or private activities in Pokhara. Phewa Lake, Barahi Temple, David’s fall, Gupteswor Cave, Vindhyabasini Temple, World Peace Stupa, Seti River, Buddhist Monastery, International Mountain Museum and Mahendra Cave are the tourist spots of Pokhara. Other attraction of Pokhara are Bungee, Paragliding, Ultralight flight and Zip Flyer. Stay overnight at the Hotel Middle Path & Spa or similar standard lodge in Pokhara.

  16. Day 16 Drive Pokhara - Kathmandu by private vehicle

    Overnight stay in Kathmandu
    Travel by private vehicle from Lakeside to Kathmandu. Option available to fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu, which will be manage on request of customer. Stay overnight at the Kathmandu Guest House in Kathmandu.

  17. Day 17 Departure from Nepal: Depart anytime!

    After breakfast, you should leave your room and store your luggage at the hotel and relax in the hotel lobby or explore the surrounding local market for last minute shopping for friends and family until you head to the airport for your flight back home.

    Due to limited space at Kathmandu Airport, all airlines have requested to report at the check-in counter three hours before the actual flight departure time. Therefore, we will pick you up from the hotel three and a half hours in advance, as the estimated travel time to the airport is around half an hour.

    We hope that your visit to Nepal and the activities you do during your visit will remind you to visit Nepal again in the future. Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
