Trip Description - Annapurna Foothills Trek

This is a newly designed trekking itinerary by Jagadamba Holidays Private Limited for those people who like to go trekking in Himalayas below 4,500 meter from sea level. The Annapurna Foothills Trek is an excellent and relaxing walk in the Annapurna area of Nepal!

The Annapurna Foothills trek is a low-level trek to Annapurna in the north-central part of Nepal. Gentle but no less exciting, this is a trek to the foot of the Annapurna range of Nepal. It misses nothing and only the scenes are satisfying. The highest point of the trek is only 4540 meters (Khayer Lake) and with some excellent mountain views during the trek period, it is an excellent trek for those who do not want to walk above 4500 meter above sea level. This three weeks trek offers the benefits of less frequent routes, without missing a beat.

You will go to Kathmandu by tourist bus today and after arriving in Kathmandu check in at your previous or other booked hotel in Thamel. It takes about 5-6 hours to reach Kathmandu from Chitwan by tourist bus. After checking in at the hotel, you have free time and walk around Thamel or visit Thamel by rickshaw.

After breakfast, you should leave your room and store your luggage at the hotel and relax in the hotel lobby or explore the surrounding local market for last minute shopping for friends and family until you head to the airport for your flight back home.

Due to limited space at Kathmandu Airport, all airlines have requested to report at the check-in counter three hours before the actual flight departure time. Therefore, we will pick you up from the hotel three and a half hours in advance, as the estimated travel time to the airport is around half an hour.

We hope that your visit to Nepal and the activities you do during your visit will remind you to visit Nepal again in the future. Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
