Trip Description - Golden Triangle Tour

The first destination of this tour is Lumbini. Lumbini is in the plains where you can visit the birthplace of Lord Gautama Buddha and many temples and Buddhist monasteries. The destination of this tour is Pokhara. Pokhara where the surrounding beautiful mountains can be seen. Pokhara is a beautiful city of nature and adventure sports where you can either relax by the lakeside or go paragliding from the mountain peaks. The best view of the mountains with sunrise on a clear day can be seen from Sarangkot which you can decide on in Pokhara as it depends on the weather.

The third destination of this tour is Kathmandu Valley. The valley formed by three district of Nepal such as Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. Kathmandu district is the capital of Nepal with its ancient history and cultural significance. You will see important landmarks in Kathmandu Valley (UNESCO World Heritage Sites) such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Changu Narayan Temple and many palace complexes (Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur and Narayanhiti) etc.

The fourth destination of this tour is Nagarkot which is very famous for the sunrise of Mount Everest in clear weather. One and a half hour’s drive from Kathmandu, people can stay in Kathmandu and drive early in the morning. Travel a day ahead for an overnight stay in Nagarkot for added comfort for the sunrise journey.

After breakfast at hotel, drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Chitwan, Sauraha by deluxe tourist bus which takes about 5-6 hours to reach our resort. Upon arrival at the resort, the receptionist at Resort will greet you with soft or warm welcome drinks. You will spend a total of three nights at the Resort in Chitwan, but the program will be based on a 2 night 3 day wildlife safari package in which all food, accommodation and activities are booked.

Our Chitwan Wildlife Safari Package Tour includes a total of 6 activities including (1) Tharu Village Walk & Sunset View Tour, (2) Bird Watching Tour (3) Canoeing, (4) Jeep Safari or Elephant Safari (National Park Visit), (5) Tharu Cultural Stick Dance Show, and (6) Elephant Breeding Center tour.

After lunch on the first day, the resort will offer partial wildlife activities so you can discuss the itinerary and decide when and what activities you want to do. After planning the trip, they will give you a time card of activities while staying at a lodge in Chitwan.

Day 1 LUMBINI: ARRIVAL DAY

Lumbini, Nepal – Arrive at Any Time
On arrival at the airport or train station in Gorakhpur, the representative of Jagadamba Holidays Private Limited will welcome and pick you up at Gorakhpur, India. After completing luggage on-load on the bus, the Lumbini tour will start from Gorakhpur. It takes about three and half hours to reach Lumbini and the total travel distance between Gorakhpur-Sunauli-Lumbini is about 125 km.

Arrive at Lumbini, start the check-in process at the hotel. During the check-in procedure, they will serve you welcome drinks and in the half hour refreshment time your lunch will be ready at the lodge. After lunch your Lumbini visit will start. It is a walking tour for about 3 hrs. If they do not like to walk, they can hire a rickshaw which costs about 500 INR for two hours. After visiting Lumbini garden, go back to the lodge and have your dinner, then today’s program will end. Stay at the Lumbini Garden Lodge in Lumbini.
Day 2 Travel Lumbini-Palpa-Pokhara by private vehicle

You can have your breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, the process of leaving the room and loading the luggage onto the bus begins. After that, today’s journey will start from Lumbini via Palpa to Pokhara.

On the second day of this tour, on the way to Pokhara, since both places are next to the highway, lunch will be arranged at a place called Palpa or Walling. On this day we will provide the main Nepal food known as Nepali Thali (Dal Bhat).

En-route, visit David’s fall, Mahadev Cave, the Tibetan Camp and the International Mountain Museum. After an in-depth tour of these places, transfer to your hotel at Lakeside. Stay at the Hotel Tulsi Pokhara in Pokhara.
Day 3 Visit Sarangkot and Sightseeing in Pokhara by private vehicle

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains at sunrise. It is possible to see it from your hotel and if you are fit and well and able to take a morning walk, you can even walk to the view tower where many people will be waiting to watch the sunrise with mountain views.

After completing the sunrise tour, return to the hotel or have breakfast at the lodge. After finishing your breakfast, leave your room and load the luggage on the bus and then, after, today’s tour will begin. We will visit Vindhyavasini Temple, Seti River, and old Pokhara, then, after, proceed to Lakeside in Pokhara for an overnight stay there.

Arrive at Pokhara, start the check-in process at the hotel. They will offer you a welcome drink during the check-in process. You have free time until lunch time. After lunch at the hotel, visit Phewa Lake and explore the lake by private boat and also visit the Barahi Temple located on a small island in Phewa Lake. Tal Barahi Temple is also known as Island Temple. After completing this tour, you have free time for your activities in the city. Stay at the Hotel Tulsi Pokhara in Pokhara.
Day 4 Travel Pokhara-Kurintar-Kathmandu by private vehicle

After breakfast at the hotel, the process of checking out from the room and loading the luggage onto the bus will begin. After checkout, our journey to Kathmandu starts from Pokhara and we continue our journey to Kathmandu via Kurintar, visiting Manakamana Temple.

The Manakamana cable car ride covers a distance of 2.8 km (1.7 mi) in 10 minutes. This cable car system was imported from Austria in Europe and guarantees 100% safety, automatically operated generators in case of power failure and hydraulic emergency drive. Stay at the Hotel Tulsi Pokhara in Pokhara.

After visiting Manakamana, before returning to Kurintar, we will have lunch at Manakamana. We will go back to Kurintar by cable car. After reaching Kurintar, we will continue our journey to Kathmandu.

On the way, visit Swayambhunath Stupa and Shobha Bhagwati temple. After a complete visit of these places, proceed to your hotel at Thamel in Kathmandu. Stay at the Hotel Kailash kutee in Kathmandu.
Day 5 Sightseeing in Kathmandu and Overnight in Kathmandu

Wake up at 5:30 in the morning and go to Pashupatinath temple to worship. Return to the hotel around 8:30 and start your breakfast. After breakfast you have free time to explore Thamel Bazaar.The sightseeing tour will start at 11 from your hotel. We will visit today – Jal Narayan, Boudhanath stupa, and Guhyeshwari Temple. First we will visit Jal Narayan Temple in Budhanilkantha, which is also called sleeping God “Vishnu”. Then we will go to Bouddh and visit the largest Buddhist Stupa called Boudhanath Stupa. After Boudhanath, we will travel to Gaurighat to visit Guhyeshwari temple.

Guhyeshwari Temple (Nepali: गुहेश्वारी मंद्री), also known as Guheswari or Guhjeshwari, is a revered sacred temple in Kathmandu, Nepal. Guhyeshwari Temple is dedicated to Guhyeshwari or Adi Shakti, which is also a Shaktipeeth, and this temple is located about 1 km east of the Pashupatinath temple and on the southern bank of the Bagmati river. Guhyeshwari temple is said to be the power seat of Pashupatinath temple. It is an important pilgrimage site for Hindus, especially for Tantric worshippers. According to the history of Nepal, King Pratap Malla renovated this temple in the 17th century. The goddess is also known as Guhyakali.

After a complete visit to these places, proceed to your hotel at Thamel in Kathmandu. Stay at the Hotel Kailash kutee in Kathmandu.
Day 6 Sightseeing in Bhaktapur and Overnight in Nagarkot

Have an early breakfast and leave the room by 8 am. Today we will visit Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changu Narayan Temple. After loading the luggage on the bus and boarding the rickshaw, we will head to the old palace area of Kathmandu known as Hanuman Dhoka / Basantpur. We will visit the Kalabhairav, Kumari and Ganesha temples in the Durbar Square area. At 11:30 in the morning we will go to Patan by bus after completing the tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square.

We will spend 2 hours in Patan visiting all the temples and palaces. We have half an hour for lunch break time in Patan as well. At 2:30 in the afternoon we will go to Bhaktapur by bus after completing the tour of Patan Durbar Square. We will spend 2 hours in Bhaktapur visiting Bhaktapur Durbar square. At 5:00 in the afternoon we will go to Nagarkot by bus after completing the tour of Bhaktapur Durbar square. We will enjoy the sunset from Nagarkot. Stay at the Hotel Nagarkot Inn in Nagarkot.
Day 7 KATHMANDU : DEPARTURE DAY

Kathmandu – Depart at Any Time
Wake up early in the morning and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains with sunrise. It is possible to see it from your hotel and if you are fit and well wish to go to the Nagarkot view tower then travel by bus where many people are waiting to watch the sunrise with mountain views.

After completing the sunrise tour, return to the hotel. After breakfast, you will have to leave your room and load your luggage on the bus for the journey to Kathmandu airport to return home. 6 Nights 7 Days Nepal Travel – ‘Nepal Experience’ will end after the group is seen off at the airport.

Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
