The package travel services offered to you by Jagadamba Holidays Private Limited are governed by travel regulations. Therefore, you will receive benefits from all packages. Overall, the company will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package. Additionally, in accordance with the law, Jagadamba Holidays Private Limited has guarantees in place to refund your payments, in the event of any booked travel package that is canceled without prior notice by the Company due to any reason. The company keeps all booked travel package cancellation rights without any prior notice in accordance with the laws of Nepal.
Flight Info for Nepal:
There are a variety of incredible things to do in Nepal, if you are not into hiking in Nepal; there are enormous things to do in Nepal i.e. helicopter charter flights, private vehicle rental service, and public/tourist bus tickets. Try to explore across the vast Himalayas by choosing below one or more of our holiday options. Pricing and flight time are subject to change without prior notice.

Special Note: Your international flights usually have to be bought by yourself but if you need help to manage those flights we also can book international flights on your behalf.
Holiday Status:
For each of our proposed guided holidays on the website, we have the minimum number of participants needed to conduct the trip. Once the minimum number is reached, the holiday status will be displayed as a departure guarantee – you can check the holiday status on the date and price page for each holiday trip. So far you are free to proceed with your international flight booking and other travel arrangements according to your destination.
You may note that in some cases we guarantee very popular trips in advance of receiving bookings. In exceptional circumstances, we will be free to cancel any holidays packages we guarantee to operate. The prices shown on the website cover everything mentioned in each travel program in the “Overview” section (unless otherwise specified in a separate statement) except for the cost of flights and visas, travel permits and private transfers. Please you should note that we cannot be held liable, in cases where we cancel your trip, for losses incurred relating to any flight booking you have made.
What the Price Includes:
The range of services included in the price will vary depending on the type of holidays package you choose. Guided holidays include a mountain leader as a trekking guide and where appropriate, additional support staff such as porters, helper, kitchen boy, cooks and drivers. Accommodation is included in all mountain-guided holidays package, and meals are also provided which can be found in the ‘Overview’ section of each tour page in detail about the inclusion and exclusion. In addition all service details included in the guided holidays price can also be found in the “FAQs and Reviews” section of each tour page.
What the Price Doesn’t Include:
Your travel visas, international flights, vaccinations, tip for guides, porters, and other staff, bar bills, drinks with meals, hotel refreshments, laundry, telephone calls, souvenirs, and meals other than those specified in the relevant overview section, sightseeing entrance fee. Besides that travel insurance, personal clothing and equipment, foreign airport taxes, helicopter shuttle flight, flight delays fee, additional transfer cost in case of emergency, excess baggage charges etc.
Group Size:
For each of our guided vacations, there is usually a minimum and maximum number of participants. These numbers are guidelines only and may change at any time for a variety of reasons, including transportation, guides, and accommodation.
Transportation:
All guided package vacations include all land transports during the trip unless otherwise noted in the “Overview” section of the Travel Program page. Please note that private airport transfers at the beginning and end of the trip may not be included in the price given on our website.
Accommodation:
The level of accommodation we use varies from basic to 5-star hotel levels while high mountain areas vary according to the destination chosen. We always strive for our clients to choose comfortable accommodation with local character on mountain holidays. We manage their accommodation in the city according to their choice in their travel budget. The value of the collective package tours is based on the acquisition of twin shares. If you have booked group travel vacations yourself, we will arrange for you to share the same room with a person of the same gender as you request, if not which cost additional there will be a supplementary payment apply. Please you may note that during mountain holidays dormitory accommodation only be available in guest houses or lodges or tea houses or huts and on some trips, we are not able to offer a single room option. Details of single room availability and pricing can be found in the Overview section of the package tour itinerary page. On most of our camping holidays, we supply standard 2-person tents with ground sheets. Mess tents, kitchen tents, toilet tents, cooking utensils and plates, glasses and cups etc. are all provided. Mountaineering expeditions require high camps, up to 3 people need to share lightweight mountain tents on occasion.
Family Rooming:
In Kathmandu and Pokhara or any other city, triple bed rooms will be provided for families with three members in the group as far as possible, which may include a twin be rooms with extra bed or mattress on the floor, otherwise only a twins bed room and a single bed room will be available. For two or four families members in a group, you will have one or two twin bed rooms. Room is specific for each holiday; Please check on the package tour itinerary page in the “overview” section for more details. We will do our best to ensure that you are satisfied with your room allocation ether in the city or Himalayas.
Choosing the Right Holiday:
We would like to see every customer happily return to home from their mountain vacation while traveling with us. Jagadamba Holidays Private Limited offers an increasingly wide range of holiday types from relaxing breaks and cultural tours, to demanding treks in the remotest parts of the world. It is most important that you read all the information we provide about the package tours and be familiar with how we grade our trips. When you make your booking we ask you to let us know some details regarding your previous experience for our more demanding holidays, we may ask that you provide us some more information on your fitness, health, and mountain trekking experience. Please note that on some trips we may ask a letter from your family doctor to confirm that you are fit enough to fully participate in our proposed high mountain holidays package trips. The nature of our holidays means that in general, they may not be suitable for persons with reduced mobility. However, if you are a slow walker and you find any of our trips suitable for you, we will be happy to discuss this with you for more details and additional arrangements.
Age Requirements:
Generally, the minimum travel age for all of our guided mountaineering or trekking package trips is 16 years, unless specify on travel information page is listed as “trip essentials” (such as our family or private package trips). We have no upper age limit to join our group travel package tours that are offered on the website. Anyone under the age of 16 must be an adult to join our fixed departure trips. There is no standard upper age limit on our mountain holidays package trips.
Luggage Allowance:
In general, travel lights equate to the comfort of your mountain holidays. The luggage allowance for personal holidays is provided in the appropriate section of the website and in the travel itinerary page. Jagdamba Holidays Pvt Ltd is not responsible for the extra baggage charges. We suggest managing the total weight of luggage including handbags about 15 kg for your mountain trekking holidays.
Equipment Hire:
Subject to availability, we may arrange for the hiring of the necessary equipment for those items on those trips. Details are available on the “Gear Checklist” page of the Trip Essentials menu on the website. You can request via email to rent the necessary equipment which can be widely rented in some places in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Khumbu area.
Travel Documents:
a) Passport:
A full passport is required for all of our holidays and for the majority of destinations, this should be valid for at least six months after the completion of your trip. To secure your booking and avoid incurring additional charges, you must provide information on your form in accordance as it is shown on your official passport.
b) Visa:
You will also need to obtain a visa for destinations in Nepal and other countries for our proposed package tours. Details of visa information can be provided via email to the specified travel destination. If applicable, we will send the relevant visa application forms after the traveler confirms the trip. Most travel visa applications must be completed before you can leave your area of residence or country. If we have used our best efforts to advise you on requirements, we cannot be held responsible for visa issues beyond our control – e.g. Mistakes from embassies, changes to the rules, or actions taken by border officials.
