Trip Description - Express Annapurna Circuit Trek

The journey starts from Kathmandu which is the capital of the Himalayan state “Nepal“, where you will explore and explore the city in your spare time in anticipation of your ascent. The Annapurna Circuit Trekking looks like a never ending ladder, and when we look up, we see a blanket of blue sky. The trekking trail above ignores us and tests our trekking rigor. On the way, we reach the deepest Kali Gandaki Gorge in the world and the second most challenging pass called Thorong La. Lakes and mountain villages, we wonder how people go there to live in solitude. When the sun greets the mountains, the Annapurna region becomes jealous. At an altitude of 5,416 meters above sea level, this pass is the most difficult place for trekking in the Annapurna circuit. At this altitude, only half of the oxygen is available at sea level. This means that every step you take makes you feel like you are running a marathon. It is impossible to walk on Thorong La Pass without adequate preparation and time, no one can. However, people of all ages can be seen walking on the Express Annapurna Circuit Trek route because they have enough time and follow the secret of hiking to be successful and adjust their body height.   1. Day 1 Arrive at Kathmandu Airport and travel directly to Besishahar!

    Overnight stay in Besisahar
    Arrive at Kathmandu Airport at least 2 o’clock (afternoon) – travel to Besishahar. After landing in Kathmandu, meet your guide and driver at the airport and then travel to Beshishahr in a Toyota Hiace car. Stay overnight at Gateway Himalayan Resort in Beshishahar.

  2. Day 2 Drive Besisahar to Chame by Jeep & Trek - Dhikur Pokhari

    Overnight stay in Dhikur Pokhari
    Have an early breakfast, then drive to Dhikur Pokhari (3060 m) by private local jeep via Chame (lunch break) and trek to your booked hotel, and stay overnight at Hotel Gangapurna.

  3. Day 3 Walk from Dhikur Pokhari to Ngawal

    Overnight stay in Ngawal
    After breakfast at the hotel, walk from Dhikur Pokhari to Ngawal (3660 m) via Ghayaru (lunch break) and overnight stay at Hotel Royal Nyasang.

  4. Day 4 Walk from Ngawal to Manang

    Overnight stay in Manang
    After breakfast at the hotel, hike from Ngawal to Manang (3540 m) via Braga and stay overnight at Hotel Mountain Lake Resort.

  5. Day 5 Let's relax in Manang

    Overnight stay in Manang
    Today is your leisure time or you can spend your day in and around Manang. We will visit the beautiful lake Gangapurna to get a closer look at the Annapurna range and the peak Gangapurna (7454 m). We also visit old Manang which is also called Tengi Manang. We then visit the ancient monasteries around Manang and talk to the locals to learn more about the Manang village and the Manangi tribes. Return to your hotel.

  6. Day 6 Walk from Manang to Yak Kharka

    Overnight stay in Yak Kharka
    After breakfast at the hotel, walk from Manang to Yak Kharka (4018 m) and stay overnight at Hotel Yak Kharka.

  7. Day 7 Walk from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi

    Overnight stay in Thorong Phedi
    After breakfast at the hotel, walk from Yak Khark to Thorong Phedi (4450 m) and stay overnight at Thorong Phedi Base Camp Lodge.

  8. Day 8 Walk from Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La 5416 m

    Overnight stay in Muktinath
    After breakfast at the hotel, start your journey at 2/3 in the morning to cross Thorang La (5416 m) and after successfully crossing, continue your journey to Muktinath (3700 m). Stay overnight at Hotel Grand Shambhala.

  9. Day 9 Walk from Muktinath to Jomsom

    Overnight stay in Jomsom
    After breakfast at the hotel, walk from Muktinath to Jomsom (2800 m) through Lupra village. Stay overnight at Hotel Pride.

  10. Day 10 Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara and Overnight stay in Pokhara

    Travel by jeep from Jomsom to Pokhara via Tatopani and Beni. You will have 2 hours of breaking time to bathe in the hot springs and enjoy lunch. Stay overnight in the Middle Path Hotel in Lakeside.

  11. Day 11 Travel by deluxe tourist bus from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

    Overnight stay in Kathmandu
    Travel by private vehicle from Lakeside to Kathmandu. Option available to fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu, which will be manage on request of customer. Stay overnight at Samsara Boutique Hotel, Thamel.

  12. Day 12 Kathmandu: Depart anytime!

    After breakfast, you should leave your room and store your luggage at the hotel and relax in the hotel lobby or explore the surrounding local market for last minute shopping for friends and family until you head to the airport for your flight back home.

    Due to limited space at Kathmandu Airport, all airlines have requested to report at the check-in counter three hours before the actual flight departure time. Therefore, we will pick you up from the hotel three and a half hours in advance, as the estimated travel time to the airport is around half an hour.

    We hope that your visit to Nepal and the activities you do during your visit will remind you to visit Nepal again in the future. Accommodation offered during the trip

The accommodation we use may vary depending on our package travel and the range of travel destinations. Before or after the trip you can book comfortable hotels in cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara for your stay. If you book a tea house trekking trip, we will provide a small two-bed room for sharing in the hill lodges which is a basic facility but very clean.

Now, better-equipped lodges are also available in Annapurna and Everest areas but we recommend trekkers to use accommodation above 3500 meters where clean rooms and clean food are readily available. Sometimes a level of flexibility may be required when trekking in remote mountain areas. We believe that you will complete your vacation without any problems and have the trip of a lifetime. If you book camping/trekking, our camping team will manage a comfortable camping site by the river where possible.

There will usually be a dedicated support team on the trip to move luggage and equipment, set up camp, and prepare your food. You will find more detailed information about travel accommodation which is mentioned separately in the lodging section of each vacation package page.

However, you can expect excellent service and high quality in any budget range you choose. We always try to choose comfortable accommodation with local character reflecting the best value based on twin share accommodation.

When you book a trip, unless you request a private single room, we will arrange for you to share a twin bed room with a person of the same gender. If you request a private single room, you will need to pay a single room supplementary fee. Please note that during the trek, if the destination is 4000 meters above sea level, only dormitory accommodation with private beds will be available. On trekking trips we try our best but do not promise guaranteed room options. For most of our camping trips, we supply branded two-person tents, including groundsheets.

Mess tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, service plates, bowls, and all necessities are provided. Members of the mountaineering travel group are requested to manage according to the options given on the website.
